PC MPPs Announce New Mental Health and Addictions Funding for Durham
OSHAWA — Durham-area Progressive Conservative MPPs announced a new funding for mental health and addictions at an Oshawa event on Friday.
MPPs Lorne Coe, Peter Bethlenfalvy, Lindsey Park and Rod Phillips made the announcement at Pinewood Centre in Oshawa that the province would spend an additional $1.5 million on mental health and addiction services in Durham.
The dollars include $47,000 in base rent supplement for the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Durham branch as well as $845,200 for Pinewood Centre for youth residential treatment and withdrawal management, community addictions services, opioid addiction treatment, early psychosis intervention and addictions and withdrawal management.
