MPP Peter Bethlenfalvy Kicks Off First Annual Firefighters’ Toy Drive

Pickering- Uxbridge – Today, MPP Peter Bethlenfalvy delivered a car load of unwrapped toys on behalf of his constituents to Fire Hall 5 at the Pickering Fire Station.

“The Firefighter’s Toy Drive brings the community of Pickering -Uxbridge together to help local families that have been affected by fires,” said MPP Bethlenfalvy. “I would like to thank the generosity of all those in the community who donated to the toy drive. Giving back to our community and helping those who need it most is what the holiday season is all about.”

MPP Bethlenfalvy and the Pickering Fire Services have been working in collaboration over the past few months in support of the Annual Fire Fighters Toy Drive.

“Pickering fire Services is proud to partner with MPP Bethlenfalvy’s office, Durham Regional Police, and all of our local charities to make the local toy drive a success” said Deputy Fire Chief Boyd, City of Pickering.

The donations collected will be delivered to children who have been affected by fires in the region by the Pickering Fire Services Association and firefighters across Pickering-Uxbridge.
